Kairi strolled down the Shore of Destiny Island humming innocently. But she
was far from up to anything innocent. She stopped now and then, twisting
around to see if she was alone and then glaring suspiciously at random
beach-going crabs. Reaching a particularly large palm tree, she stopped and
walked around it. She did not look surprised in the slightest to see
Selphie standing there, her back pressed up against the tree. "Well.Im glad
you're on time" She snorted. "Sorry. Just didn't want to get caught is
all." Kairi spat back sourly
Selphie moved away from the tree and, placing her hands on her hips shook
her head. "No use wasting time telling you I already took care of that"
Selphie said, a wicked grin spreading across her face. She held up a small
vile. In the bottom was the tiniest drop of sleeping draught. "With the
dosage I put into those muffins it'll keep 'em out for an hour or two."
Both girls seemed to put their sarcasm behind them for what they were
conspiring was far more amusing. Kairi shared Selphie's evil grin. "Now.we
get to work." And with menacing plans in mind, they headed toward Sora and
Rikus houses.
Sora woke up bright and early the next morning, the sun shining in his face. He felt unusually drowsy and wondered if any more of those muffins he had found earlier were left for breakfast. He groped around for his dresser and pulled out his usual attire. Yawning and stretching, he headed for the beach.
Several houses away, Riku was also rising from his sleep. He was dizzy and for some reason didn't remember anything after devouring three or so muffins so 'graciously prepared' as he was told by Selphie. He headed for the blurred image of his closet and pulled out what he hoped to be clothes. "Hmm." He thought to himself. "My clothes smell like perfume."thinking for a moment he stopped and said aloud "I smell like fresh wild flowers." And with a grin on his face that could scare a dragon and a voice to go with it he skipped of singing.
After a rushed breakfast the two of them met on the beach. Both stopped dead at the sight of the other. Sora was dressed in Kairi's clothes, while Riku was dressed in Selphie's. All of a sudden, both Selphie and Kairi jumped out from behind the palm tree where the plan was conspired. In shock, the two boys stood in horror, Sora turning a deep shade of red. Both the girls were wearing their clothes. Recovering from the shock, Sora ran and hid behind a bush. Riku, seeming to be paralyzed with fear stood still as a statue. With a growing concern, Kairi cautiously approached him. Out of nowhere Riku spoke. "I'm so pretty." He grinned while the others stood around with blank expressions on their faces. Even Sora who was now attempting to 'wear' the bush home had heard the news. As if to add to the humor Sora walked up to Kairi and asked timidly "Can I have my clothes back now?" The girls fell to the ground struggling to breathe through their cries of laughter. Meanwhile Riku pranced around the background happily, Thrilled with the strange revelation that he looked 'pretty' in girls clothing. Sora sighed, exasperated. "Just kill me now."
