Malik's unruly hair blew in the wind. He smiled as the sun set, and retreated to his motorcycle. Before he left, he turned and face Ishizu. "Sister, I know all the pain I have caused you has been too great to take back now. But, now that I'm leaving, I know things will change around here for the better. No one here will be sorry that I'm leaving, and that's why I've decided to go somewhere people will accept me." Ishizu knew that he had meant what he said, but she didn't want to believe it. "Brother, is it my fault?" she questioned in denial. Malik chuckled wearily. His mind was lost in the pale red sky. He had never seen anything more beautiful. "Ishizu, I know you meant well, trying to stop me from all that I've been yearning to achieve. And, it's not your fault. It's completely my own. I ruined things for us. For everybody." He could see tears were forming at her eyes, and embraced her one last time. "When will you come back?" she whispered, her voice frail, as if it would snap like a twig. Malik could only stare at the sun, setting ever so gracefully. Ishizu was the only person he has ever cared about, ever loved, ever even known. He knew he was hurting her now more than ever. "Sister," he began, as their sad eyes finally met once again. "I leave knowing not only that I have failed, but that I thrive in failure. I know I have hurt you to an extent where it must be unbearable, but I never meant it. It was a side effect of my plan, the plan I had always put before anyone, or anything. But, my plan failed, and I have failed too, because I have hurt you in the process." He bowed his head, as if the pain was so unbearble that he couldn't go on. Tears streamed down his face, as he parted from his sister. "Now, I bid you farewell, not knowing if and when I shall return." And with that he was gone. Maybe it was for the better, maybe for the worse, but Ishizu knew that she couldn't chase after him. It was over, Malik was gone.
