Prologue
As Maggie was preparing to sleep, she brushed her hand against a picture. As she picked the picture up, countless memories flooded her mind. She could still remember the countless Daughters who had made their first major decision at the age of fifteen. Before she went to sleep, she made a mental note to tell the five Daughters about the decision that they had to make. Often, the weak-willed Daughters would simply turn to the Atrox in an act of desperation. This decision included an actual sacrifice of someone close to them, like a parent or a best friend.
