Not Enough

Kyou sat on a boulder in the park. The rain came down in hard pounds as he watched it fall. He needed to calm himself. He couldn't stand living in that house, yet he couldn't leave. Am I trying to prove something to myself? He remembered his fight with Yuki earlier. I'm trying to prove that I can beat Yuki. Than why do I feel empty?
// There's nothing you can say // // Nothing you can do // // Nothing in between // // You know the truth //
Tohru walked down the sidewalk. Heavy grocery bags were in her arms. She kept thinking of the fight this mourning. I hope Kyou all right. Yuki beat him pretty bad. She passed by the park and found Kyou sitting on the boulder. What is he doing?
//Nothing left to face // // Nothing left to lose // // Nothing takes your place //
Kyou looked up and say Tohru staring at him. He blushed a little, then continued staring at the ground. What's she doing here?
Tohru couldn't help it. He looked so alone. But there's nothing I can do to help him.
// When they say you're not that strong // // You're not that weak // // It's not your fault // // When you climb up to your hill // // Up to your place // // I hope you're well //
Kyou was getting irritated; he didn't enjoy her staring at him, watching him. He wanted to tell her to go away, but he knew that wouldn't help a whole lot. Tohru began to walk up to him. Kyou looked up. "What do you want?"
// There's nothing left to prove // // Nothing I won't do // // Nothing like the pain // // I feel for you //
Tohru blushed a little. "I'd thought I'd come over and try to cheer you up." Kyou scowled. "I don't need your help. I'm just fine." Tohru raised an eyebrow you don't look to fine."
// Nothing left to hide // // Nothing left to fear // // I am always here //
Kyou lowered his head. "Fine. you win." Tohru thought for a bit, then an idea popped into her head. "Well when I'm sad a song always cheers me up!" Kyou eyes widened. "Huh.?" Tohru smiled. "I know the perfect song too!
When they say you're not that strong, You're not that weak, It's not your fault. When you climb up to your hill, Up to you're place, I hope you're well.
Kyou raised an eyebrow. "Um. okay." He jumped off the boulder and began to walk home. Tohru was pleased with herself. I made him feel a bit better at least. She fumbled with the bags in her hands. Kyou turned around. He took a few bags from her. "What did you go shopping for?" Kyou peered into the bag. "Um. they're leeks. for miso soup." Kyou eyes widened.
