A poem inspired by the film "Donnie Darko". I wrote it a while back, but I never really got much of a response about it at a BBoard I posted it at. I figured that it was fair to post it here.

Do Not Feel Sad For Me

Do not feel sad for me
My death was for a purpose
A purpose that was unclear to me at first
If I hadn't of died now, then everyone else would have died later
Do not feel sad for me
So much is riding on me this night
So much that I had to come back to correct my mistakes
Though you don't know what I am talking about
Though you'll never really know my last thoughts
I am not alone in this death
I am still alive, but not here
I still exist, just not on this plane anymore
All that I wanted to say, I got to
All that I wanted to do, I did
All that I wanted to teach, I taught
I did it all
Do not feel sad for me after I am gone
I love you all, even though I seemed that I didn't
Do not feel sad for me.
