On to the story. It's an AU, sort of. The premise is that on Hyperion, Tobias only had the
ability to send one person back to Earth after seaQuest won. The consensus among the crew
was that it should be Lucas, given that he was still so young. This is what I think might
have occurred if that had happened.
A few other details: Dr. Westphalen and Lt. Cdr. Hitchcock never left the boat after season
1, and Dr. Smith doesn't exist in my world.
