Mangetsu

*It was a cold dreary night in the neighborhood of Inuyasha. He was suspicious, and went out searching, and much to his surprise he found Kiken*

"Who the hell are you and what the hell are you doing here?"

"I am Kiken, one of the Nekoyasha."

*This surprised the hell out of Inuyasha. He had no idea that such creatures had ever existed in this realm*

"I was sent here, from my planet, Mangetsu. It is my home, and just as you do not want me here, I do not wish to be hear.

*Inuyasha stepped back to take a look at the girl that sat before him. She was about 5 foot with silver hair that showed off her twilight eyes beautifully. He found he was suddenly. attracted to her. Her ears where that off a cat, though at first sight they could easily be mistaken for an Elf's ears*

"How can you get home? Why did you have to come hear?"

"To remind you Inu, of what your life should be."

*He now stares blankly at the girl, for he hasn't a clue what she means*

"Come with me."

*She holds out a hand, and he reaches for it. They take each others hands and he is suddenly thrown into a swirling vortex of color, sound, and an odd light, the color of her eyes. Then as it clears, he comes to realize that he is on the planet that he had run from so many years ago*

"My home!"

"Yes. This is how it is, now that you have left your people."

*They look around, and Inu sees nothing but despair. Nothing but agony and pain and suffering. Bits of conversation are heard amongst the people*

"Ahhhhhhhh..."

"Somebody. help us!!!"

"Shhhshhhshh. It will be all right some day. Inu won't be gone forever. He will come and save us from the Nekoyasha someday. Then we will be free." *Inuyasha, turns, stunned to Kiken*

"But-"

"I know and understand the words you are about to speak. It is with me to, the guilt of leaving my people in exile. But I had to stop the war. One more battle and your people would have been finished. And only a short matter of time after that, you too would have been found, and in turn, killed."

"Why are you showing me this? There's nothing I can do now."

"But there is. I have the power to go back and change things. I have the power to make them different, make it so you never left. And then I can stay with you here."

"What?"

"I live in exile. Even if I change the timeline, my people and you will still no of me, and I can never go back."

"Show me what my world would be like if I never had left, and things are as you say they are."

*They are again, sucked into the swirling vortex, but this time he holds Kiken in his arms. She feels natural there, almost as if he had held her there all his life.*

"We are here."

*Again, they look around, and they see happiness, laughter and joy. Then bits of conversation catch Inu's ears that make up his mind forever.*

"Kiken!"

"Yes, Inu?"

"Our daughter is at the market again. We shall have to go retrieve her."

"Inu, I sent her there."

"But why? Do you not no it is my birthday?"

"Of course. I love you Inu, that is why I sent her away."

"Wife, I love you as well, now we must find her. I have received word that war is upon swift wings. Stupid humans."

*Inuyasha struggles a bit with his decision, before kissing Kiken, and giving his answer.*

"I want to say no.
