Mind of a Child
With the mind of a child yet still inside, He hides from a smile Because someone died. Still innocent inside Scared out of his mind, Because people lie So he hides inside. Hurts when they laugh, hurts when he cries Hurts when his tears fall in to the sky. To scared to believe, that he's in control Because someone he loved, has gown down the hole. Whole in his heart, where I want to be Won't someone please stop and bring you to me. Mind of a child Heart of a saint, Love so devoted So why'd you run away? Why did you leave? Leave us alone When you got back home, Where you really alone? Likely to find, your own piece of mind To bad, to find That you've gown and died.
