He is trying to escape from Yugi, Isis, and Shadi who are trying to catch him Bakura open's the shadow realm. When he begins running he looks the other way and then he turns his head "Welcome" Marik? "How did you get here?" "That's not your problem" "I challenge you to a shadow games" "why fight me? I do not hold a god card in my possession" "You still think it's about the cards ha with the combined power of the items I could rule the world like it should have been then I can take the god cards with ease not even the pharaoh or my sister can stop me. Are you ready Ryou?"
This shadow game we shall use the stone tablets they used millennia ago "I call upon the Kaiser Dragon your turn Bakura" "Fine then I call Obelisk the Tormenter" "How did you. I . you summand a Egyptian god monster" "Prepare this is what ends it all" "No I will not lose this is not over I call The Winged Dragon of Ra" Yugi and the other two make to the spot right when they attack each other .It is a draw they both stand there mentally drained Marik drops his item at the same time Bakura does the same. They both fall to the ground "Hurry grab the ite.." Shadi stops speaking Marik has him under his power "I am not going to give up" Marik say's in weak voice "I shall defeat you with the help of Ryou and the millennium items I will rule the world and not even the pharaoh can stop me".
