Intro

Hi this is my first fic, so tell me what you think, I want lots and lots of reviews!! Disclaimer: I don't own Sailor Moon blah blah blah.

I It was a beautiful night, a night of romance, of dreams, of lovers.  Love's Night it was called on the moon, one day every year there was a flower, Loves Bloom, which bloomed, only on that day. The flower sent a romantic aura to whoever was around. 

          Princess Serena was staring at the blue-green Earth from her crystal balcony in her chambers of the Moon Palace.  Her room had the most scenic view of the Earth, and she spent most of her hours there either with her friends or alone.   She stood alone, leaning on the railing with the warm breeze flowing through her long golden hair.  Her lengthy dress, silver as the moon itself, flawless, her eyes sparkling as the sea never sparkled before.  Her lips rosy as a flower, any man or woman watching would have to take a second look, she wasn't seen by most people of the moon kingdom, so amongst the citizens, her beauty was almost mythical, as the few who have seen her described the princess to be more, a goddess in disguise. I 

Tonight, just like all nights, she was thinking about love, why couldn't she find anyone?  How wonderful it would be to find a true love, not from those conceited, self-conscious princes always trying to impress her.  She wanted someone genuine, who could look out for her, and not only for himself and his looks.  She sighed sadly. "If only." She said to herself.

          There was a knock on the door. "Princess, Queen Serenity would like to know if you are ready, Prince Andros is waiting to meet you." It was Celeste; she had been Serena's chambermaid since she was born.  Celeste was always like an older sister to Serena, they talked for hours at a time about almost anything, though Serena hadn't told her about her desire for love.  "Princess, are you ready? You're mother is waiting." I Let her waitI  Princess Serena thought.  IMother wants me to marry a prince, then I'll wait until one comes along that isn't carrying a mirror.I  Queen Serenity was a loving mother, and an outstanding ruler, Serene always tried to follow in her footsteps, but this time she had to disagree.  The annual Loves Bloom ball is tonight, and this past year, her mother had been trying to set her up with a prince, she wanted her to marry the day after her eighteenth birthday, which was in only 2 months.  Serena thought the very idea was ridiculous; get married, already?  She tried to obey her mother, and in doing so, she met 23 princes the past month.  All of them were the same.  Princess Serena was tired of having to meet a drooling ass-hole prince who thought he was the center of the universe.  Queen Serenity thought she was being too picky, as most of the princes were quite handsome, but Serena thought, if she were to marry, it would have to be for love and nothing else.

          "Tell her I'm coming." She said.  "Yes princess" Celeste replied, leaving Serena to finish getting ready. The princess took one last look at the Earth grabbed her purse and powdered her nose lightly.  "Here goes nothing" She said to herself and started toward the ballroom.
