Disclaimer: Square owns Elena, Tseng, and the mysterious unnamed character. Marilyn Manson owns the song.
Coma Blue
There she stands, the wind pounding against her small body. Last time she spoke, she smiled, but there was something cold and blank behind it. Now, no smile caresses her face as she stands on the edge of the Sister Ray. It a long way down: at least a mile.
"You were from a perfect world, a world that threw me away today. Today to run away."
Those were the words that I barely heard her mumble as she stood over his body on that dreadful day. Those were fell from her lips when I saw her looking through Hojo's "medicine" cabinets. Poor, helpless Elena. Those drugs won't save you from yourself.
And now she stands, waiting to fall. Inside, I can see her bleeding, like a polaroid that lost all her dolls. No, not all her dolls, just her favorite: Tseng.
How she adored Tseng, and ignored me. I guess, after the fall, I'll never have a chance to become one of your dolls. Poor, innocent Elena, you were from a perfect world, a world that threw me away today. But today, I won't run away.
"Elena. We've got work to do. Come back inside."
COMA WHITE
Something is cold and blank behind her smile
She's standing on an overpass
In her miracle mile
(coma):
"You were from a perfect world
A world that threw me away today
Today to run away"
A pill to make you numb
A pill to make you dumb
A pill to make you anybody else
But all the drugs in this world
Won't save her from herself
Her mouth was an empty cut
And she was waiting to fall
Just bleeding like a polaroid that
Lost all her dolls
(coma):
"You were from a perfect world
A world that threw me away today
Today to run away"
A pill to make you numb
A pill to make you dumb
A/N: Well, if you didn't assume already, the narrator is another Turk, but who? Well, I could pick between Rude and Reno, so I left it ambiguous. Plus, I love leaving things ambiguous.
