Time passes by us without us knowing

I didn't detect the concern he showed – Only to me
The love that shone in his eyes -- When he looked at me
The warmth he emitted – Which consoled my broken soul
The tender-loving hands that roved all over my body – When he tried to make me forget about Youhei
The soft lips on mine – Which revealed all his affections for me
How It Is –
In my saddened state
I didn't see it coming
A drunken driver accelerating his Mercedes towards me
"Hana!!"
Was all I heard
Before I blacked out
How It Is –
Haruko handed me some of his belongings
When we attended the funeral together
Pictures of me crying
Photos of me smiling
Drawings of me sleeping
How it is –
I am so blind
To everything that he has done for me
After the breakup with Youhei
I closed my heart
To protect myself from getting hurt again
Not knowing that there is already someone there for me all along
How It Is –
Fate reveals all these --
Only when he is not with me any longer
And forever
