AN: Okay, Lana here. First time I've tried a Scooby-Doo story, so bear with

Scooby-Doo And The Wind Children
Prologue
Thump, thump, thump, thump
Hearts beating. Fast. Much faster than normal. Feeling like they were about to just burst from the chests of the two shadows running down an unlit hallway in what looked like an underground cavern.
"Which way, Pathway?" a soft voice asked. There was some sniffing, then a quiet whine, and one of the shadows, looking low to the ground, turned towards the crack in the left wall.
"Good job." the voice whispered, looking and seeing it opened a little further in to create a suitable hiding spot. Both shadows slipped in, and seconds later light flooded cavern, but not reaching the crack.
"Find them!" a middle aged man yelled to the guards who were searching behind every rock and in every crevice in the cave.
One was just a foot away from the mysterious pairs hidden refuge, when another guard yelled, "They're not here! Start searching back the way we came, maybe they hid back there somewhere."
"Right!" all the others yelled, and ran back, the light eventually fading with the departing guards as their flashlights went with them.
After half an hour, the two figures came out of their hiding spot, and ran the opposite way down the winding tunnels, emerging into the cold night air as they escaped the cave, and continuing to run until they reached a small boat on the edge of the island they had been on.
The taller figure jumped in after its companion, and started the motor, the muffled purring noise of the engine fading away as the two of them were propelled away from land into the sea.
