He is crouching like a tiger in the dark alley. Following every move the woman makes. Following her every step that takes her closer to her home. Just as he is about to jump up and attack her he senses another presence. He looks across the street and when his eyes falls upon a familiar shadow he makes his gameface shown. As he looks one more time after the woman he realizes that she has vanished. A low growl can be heard from him but when he looks towards the place where the man stood he can no longer see him. He stands up and is just about to step into the streetlight when suddenly a hand falls on his shoulder. He spins around and is just about to punch the one behind him when he sees who it is. He growls again and turns his back to the man.
- 'Fancy meeting you her Angel.'
- 'Spike, what are you doing here?' Angel follows his grandchilde as he steps into the streetlight.
Spike lets out a small chuckle.
- 'What am I doing here? Well now my dear Angel, I am here for the simple reason that my latest childe asked me to take care of someone that was bothering Maria. You know, Maria, the one that you seems to have abandoned, but then you have to come here and interrupt all my fun.'
- 'Your fun? Spike, I know you have that chip in your head that makes it impossible for you to hurt humans.'
The muscles in Spike's back gets tense when he hears those words coming from his grandsire, but that is the only reaction he shows.
- 'That doesn't stop me from having fun.'
When Angel doesn't answer he turns around only to find the street behind him empty.
- 'You go back to your childe, William, and let me take care of the one who bothers Maria.' His voice sounds distant.
- 'Bloody Hell Angel! You always have to take away all the fun, but I will do as you say. I will go back to my childe. My precious Johanna.' His gameface turns back into his normal face as he thinks about the beautiful, young female vampire that awaits his return and he walks away into the night.
