It was the weekend of Valentine's day and Clark thought it would be romantic if he surprised Lana by taking her out to dinner. He bought a dozen roses and a box of chocolates for Lana. Then he walked down to The Talon and he found Lana talking to Chloe.
"Do you want to go to the movies with me tonight?" Chloe asked.
Before Lana could answer she saw Clark with the flowers and candy.
"Hey Clark."
"Hey, these are for you"
"Aw….thanks Clark, you didn't have to do this for me."
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to dinner with me tonight."
"Tonight?" Lana said as she looked at Chloe.
Chloe gave her the notion to go with Clark.
"Sure Clark, I'll go with you."
"Great! Does six o' clock sound good?"
"Ya, that sounds great."
"Ok, see you at six."
Clark left The Talon with a huge grin on his face.
"Thanks Chloe."
"Hey, don't mention it, we can always go watch movies."
"I was wondering, can you do me a huge favor."
"Sure."
"Can you watch The Talon while I'm off with Clark."
"No problem."
"Thanks Chloe."
Lana quickly got home and put on her best dress. Within an hour she was ready to go. Meanwhile, Clark was off at Lex's house.
"Hey Lex, can I borrow a limo."
"Sure Clark, what's the occasion?"
"I have a date with Lana."
"Really?"
"Ya."
"Ok Clark, my driver will be ready in ten minutes."
"Thanks Lex."
Clark pulled up to Lana's house at about ten till six.
"Wow!….you look amazing Lana."
Lana blushed and replied, "Thanks Clark."
Clark thought he would joke around with Lana so he said, "Come Madame, your chariot awaits."
Lana just laughed and stepped into the limo.
