"Mom I don't want to talk." Maria said taking a deep breath.
"But Maria this is a life changing decision."
"I don't care I am going that is it."
"But honey if you'd just listen."
"I'm tired of listening I have nothing here for me I am going to go live with my cousins whether you like it or not."
"Maria you're only 17 if you just wait a few years to get into all this."
"Mom I am going and its final stop trying to talk me out of it. They need my help and you can't stop me."
"When are you going?" She asks knowing she's lost this fight.
"Tomorrow morning they'll be waiting for me."
"Your life is going to be endless battles, killing, and you'll never be safe." Amy tried to warn.
"I know but I have to do it."
