"Maria are you at least going to go to say bye to your friends?" Amy's mom said hoping she would.

"No," Maria stated.

"What if they worry?" Amy asked.

"I don't care they don't care so why should I?" Maria said stubbornly.

"Whatever." Amy said she was getting pretty tired of her daughter's attitude.

"And you're not going to tell them why I've left." Maria said firmly staring directly at her mother.

"Of course not I would never put yours or your cousins life in danger by letting the secret get out." Amy says as she grabs one of Maria's bag.

"Well lets go." Maria says grabbing her other bags.

Maria takes one last look around her room and steps out all the while watching her house for it would be the last time she'd see it and she wasn't sure she'd get the chance to ever see it again.

Her life wasn't going to be as bad as her mother had described it but one thing was for sure that life wasn't going to be the same. She would have to battle and fight but she didn't think any harm would come to her. But they never knew.

As she boarded the plan she gave her mom a hug before going to find her seat. She couldn't remember the last time she had flown on a plane. She stared out the window wondering what her friends were doing right now… would they even miss her?

She didn't think so but she didn't know for sure she wished she'd know what they'd be thinking when they did come to the conclusion that she had ran away from Roswell.

But what she was running to was for her own good it was what she was meant for it was her purpose to protect the world and everyone in it.
