Van growled as the Genobreaker clamped one of its claws around the Liger's leg. Raven grinned. "Gotcha." Van let out a yell as Zeke twisted the Liger free. "Wow! Go Zeke!" Fiona cheered. The Genobreaker roared and suddenly turned away. "Shadow, what are you doing?!" Raven twisted the controls to no avail. The Genobreaker hovered in the air, gave a growl and flew off. "I wonder what THAT was all about." The Blade Liger shook itself and fired up the boosters. Zeke infused and ran along side the Zoid.
"You were lucky, Van." Irvine glanced at his Command Wolf. "But I bet me and my Command Wolf could beat Raven any day." Van crossed his arms. "My Blade Liger could defeat you in a second!" Irvine smiled. "Yeah, right." Suddenly a thundering broke the still air. "What on Zi is that?" A silver Zoid ran up to them and the cockpit opened.
"Hi there!" A teenager hopped out and landed in front of them. "My name's Jason. Are you the kid that defeated the Death Saurer?" Van blinked. "Uh, yeah, I am." Jason gestured to the silver Zoid. "This is my Konig Wolf. We're the best team there is." Irvine scowled. "My Zoid could beat your wolf any day." Jason looked shocked. "Really? Then how 'bout a battle?" Irvine smiled. "You've got to be kidding me." He climbed into his Command Wolf and faced Jason. The teen grinned and shrugged. "You sure you want to do this?"
As if in response, the black and red Zoid leapt out of sight. Jason looked up. The black Zoid loomed larger as Irvine flew towards him. The Dual Sniper Rifle moved in line with the Zoid. Jason lowered the cross- spectrum scope and took aim. He pushed a button and the Command Wolf let out a scream. The Zoid dropped in front of the Konig Wolf and lay still. Van stared in amazement at the Zoid. "Wow, Jason! Your Zoid really IS tough! But I bet you can't beat me!"
The silver Zoid marched up to him and the cockpit opened. "Sure, I'll fight you." He glanced over at the still Command Wolf. "Will he be okay?" Van laughed. "Of course he will!" Jason grinned. "Let's fight!"
