Chapter Two
It was cold to cold, the wind swept through my sweater like water. But even so I stayed put, even I Virginia Weasley was not stupid enough to try and get away. They would kill me, in an instant, no hesitation. I wonder to myself how I could have been so ignorant as to think that Draco Malfoy could have changed. Even that wasn't a question worth answering, I loved him, and I still do. I want him; I long for his touch. But it is forbidden. It always was and always will be. I lean back against one of the many trees that surround me. The rough bark pinches my back like a needle. I can barely think, the rush of dark energy surrounding me clouds my mind. I roll my head to the side in a feeble atempt to clear it. I almost jump at the sight of the masked figure kneeling down beside me. I can feel his eyes upon me. They are as a dragons, cold, and misty gray. I stare at the ground. Not wanting anything to do with him, because if I hate him the lust will go away. "Well hello there Virginia" The sound of his voice makes my skin crawl, I want to rise and shun him away from me, but I stay. "Let's take a little walk shall we." I do not respond I stare at the ground, hoping that he will leave me be, But he persists. "Get up." Still I pretend not to hear him. "IMPRO" I am suddenly jerked in an upward motion. Though I am now standing I continue to stare at the ground before me. I can feel his icy glare. With his fingertips he gently tilts my head upward to meet his gaze, I quickly jerk away from his hand not wanting to be near him. The dragon give a slight grin, apparently amused at my failing act of retaliation. Jerking my shoulder he spins me around backward, keeping a tight grip on my arm as we make our way into a forest of shadows.
