Dear Dr. Kroger,
I haven't written in awhile but Sharona and I have been busy trying to adjust to our new house Florida. So far it's been great here. We've been having beautiful weather and have met a lot of nice people. I have to fly back to San Francisco next week to get the last of our things from Sharona's sister, Gail and finalize everything. Hopefully I'll be able to stop by and say hello. I still can't believe that I can fly now without wondering if the plane is safe enough or has been disinfected within the last two days. Next month marks eight years since I've been cured from my O.C.D. and I feel like I can do anything. Thanks to you and Sharona.
On Friday Sharona and I will have been married for seven years although it doesn't seem like that long to me. She's doing really well. After we moved she decided to renew her nursing license and is now working on the Psych Ward of Florida Hospital. Sometimes it is exhausting work but she loves it there.
Benji's doing really well at the University of Philadelphia. He plans to study Psychological disorders for his graduate work. I guess both you and I are his inspiration. I talked to him yesterday and he said he's having a great time. Of course his mother is still nervous about him being far away. He wanted me to make sure to thank you for the letter of recommendation you wrote. And hopes it will help him get his doctorate.
Lilly turned five two months ago and is loves going to Kindergarten. Although she doesn't like math, just like her brother. She likes to draw and play games and actually beats me sometimes. She can be a handful but she's an amazing person.
As for me I just started working for the Orlando Police Department as a Lieutent last week. So far none of the cases I've been involved in compare to those when I worked for Capitan Stottlemeyer but I'm sure that it will change soon enough.
It's amazing how great my life has been since I finally solved Trudy's murder and beat my O.C.D. I seem to have the life I always wanted to have with Trudy and now I also have a family. I know when I fly back to San Francisco next week I'll stop by to see her too. I know that I'm going to miss not being so close to her but I know that my new family will fill the void in my heart. I make sure to give you a call when I'm in town.
Hope to see you soon,
Adrian
