As Spike said, "It's just a bad dream!" Spike loved Faye and Jet, but everything he had been living for had been
destroyed, Julia, Shin, everyone he loved in his past except Viscous and Shin. So he decided he didn't want the ones
he loved to be hunted for the remnants of their lives, plus he didn't want to make Faye & Jet watch him suffer and
watch his heart and mind die along with his body. He went the to the syndicate building on Mars to die, but he also
went there to find out if he was really alive. He wondered, "Am I really alive, or has my whole been but one big
dream, a life without a true reality. He found that his heart had died with Julia, so even if he actually survived, the
Spike we all know never left the syndicate building, to our knowledge. But, Spike going there to die was not
cowardly, he did not want people to hurt, actually Spike went to see Vicious to settle a score and to die to free Mars,
and all the ones he loved, of dictators, free them of the syndicate reign. He killed his former best friend just to let
live freely the ones that remained, the living, and the ones he loved! His actions are an example of what all true men
should strive to be, he was a true warrior, but he was a warrior with a kind, gentle and caring heart. He was
uncorrupted, and his motive in being a bounty hunter was not the money, it was his goal that drove him, it was his
goal that kept him alive, it was his goal to find Julia and live with her freely that eventually made Spike go and face
Vicious! Even though he was loved deeply by Faye, when Julia died his heart died, and when his heart died he
decided 'No More!' In other words he wanted to let others live their lives and not just dream them away such as how
most of his life had slipped away. He wanted to let them live their own lives, let them love freely, and let them
think with their own minds! He wanted to make sure what had happened to Spike & Julia would never happen to
another human again, and so he went to his death to free humanity from having to dream away their lives with fear!
But then what if he got a second chance, what if he lived, what if he decided in his last moments he realized he still
had a purpose, that he had someone who needed him, and that kept him going! We have just begun a new journey!
