Chapter 1
Transformation
As you know, many creatures have the ability to transform themselves without using magic as most people know it. By this, I do not mean the Animagius Like Professor McGonagall, teacher of Transfiguration and Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry in England, but rather natural transformers. But now I will attempt to give you a better understanding of the power inherant in this natural gift, because you must understand that before you can use the advanced magic presented in later chapters of this book.
Elfs are magical creatures in and of themselves. They possess far greater magical potential than any human or human crossbreed. However they must learn to tap into that power, which is far harder for an elf to do than it is for their human counterpart. This will be discussed in the chapter entitled "Tapping into Elvish Power Sources" For now, what you Should know is this:
Elven transfiguration is complex. All elves, should they learn to control this power, could plausably transform into up to three different aniumals. The number they can do is determined by the level of magic they have apon thier birth. Even those who know how to control it can usually only control one of thier possible forms, even if they have the potential to have all three possible. (See: Controling Your Transformations)
Veela have only one possible transformation... A full human. They can use this, once they learn to control it, to stop situations from becoming uncomfortable when thier natural attraction would not be welcome. This power is stronger in part veela, since they have more human in them to begin with. Also, not all veela can do this... They must learn to by the age of 25 or they will never be able.
Born Werewolves are humans who can change into a wolf at will, not relying on the phase of the moon. They also retain their human mind in this form, and are therefor not dangerous. This is a wonderful talent not shared amoung other species. In other species, the wolf is a rare transformation indicating a very rare high amount of magic present in their blood. If you know a wolf natural transformer who is not human, there is probably something they are not telling you about what theyare
There are, of course, other speciese with natural transformers, but these are the most common. Others will be mentioned as needed throughout the text
