Hanging by a moment.

They sat side by side in the moonlight. The moons light shone down on the snow around them, causing everything to glow slightly. Neither spoke, they just sat staring out over the frozen lake.

They made a wonderful sight. Both complete opposites of the other. One with pale, white-blonde hair, and the other with dark hair, midnight black. Darkness and light. Light and Darkness.

If you asked any of their friends you would have been told that these two would never become lovers. It was impossibility in everyone's eyes.

But nothing is impossible.

They completed each other. Fit together like Ying and Yang. The need to be together pulled them both strongly, yet both were forced to fight it, they had to hide it. It was slowly killing them, this having to hide.

Only in the depth of the night could they truly be whom they wanted.

They met every night now, sometimes getting as close to each other as possible, and sometimes they just sat and thought. Like tonight.

Never had they ever talked though. Communication between them was wordless. Never did they discuss their future, too afraid to think about what it might bring them.

These nights were all they had left. A memory of happiness. A last love.

So they sat silently.

Hanging by a moment.
A/N: This was just a short little fic I decided to write one day. Tell me what you think of it.
