The boy sat there. He had for two hours. He sat, leaning on the tree. He seemed to be resting. They, of course would think that, thought the boy. He had brown hair, drawn over his face, but pulled back in a spiked tail at the top of his head. He wore a blue tunic, the hood not drawn. Next to him, leaning on the tree, sat a Buster Sword, a mammoth of a sword. And on the left side of him, sat a small Chocobo. He was about 30cm tall, standing. He chirped softly, and the boy came out of his dreams. He had ice blue eyes. He was about 13, by the looks of it. He scholars had retired for the holidays, and things were peaceful. The silence was interrupted by a girls voice, which echoed around the clumps of bushes and trees. "Hayden? Hayyyden!" She yelled searching. Her blonde hair, strung back by a bandanna flowed around her shoulders. "Oh. There you are." She said spotting her target. "You should be at the town." She said angrily, glaring. "So..?" he said, raising an eyebrow at his fiancée. "Getup! Now!" she yelled. She started to walk away, briskly. The grass blew in the wind, and clouds loomed over head. "Ugh.rain." Said Hayden, looking at the sky. He grappled his pack in one hand, and slung it over his shoulders. He picked up the Chocobo (named Choco) and put him on his shoulder. He ran forward to catch up to Lisa, as it started to pour down. He pulled up the hood of his tunic, and wondered if Lisa would be getting wet. He suddenly realised he had forgot his sword. It would probably rust if he left it there, or get stolen. He turned around and ran back. He found the tree he was formerly sitting at and gripped the Buster Sword in his hands. The handle was cold and slippery, and his fingers were numb, so he buckled it to his back. As he turned around, a voice whispered in his ear. "Who are you? Why do you disturb this meeting?" it asked. He swung around to find a boy with purple hair smiling at him. He had a pale face, as though dead."Who are you?" asked Hayden. "Why do you not answer my question?" he retorted. Hayden began to step back. Oh shit, thought Hayden. Who is this guy? "So, you don't answer. Well, you never met me did you?" asked the boy, like a suggestion. "Who are you?" repeated Hayden. "Stop asking that!" snapped the boy. "Fine then. My name is Aramus." Said the boy, smiling. "Now, I'm going to kill you, I'm afraid." Said the boy. Surprised, Hayden turned and began to run. Aramus sighed. "Oh, well. Another one bites the dust. Ultima!" he screamed, unsheathing the blade buckled to his side, and swinging it in a semi-circle motion, pointing towards Hayden. Hayden swung around to see a blade of light heading toward him. He unsheathed his Buster Sword.blocked.FWASSSHH! The blow was blocked, and.drawn into the sword? "What the hell?" said Aramus. The sword glowed with purple flame. Hayden's lip was bleeding and he had other signs of blood. "Now.you. die. prick." said Hayden, smiling.
