Landen has experienced a lot of different feelings in the time he knew
Jamie. When she passed away he was very angry and got involved with the
church and visited a children's hospital and helped out. When he was going
through the old box of all of Jamie's belongings, he found her journal with
all of her thoughts. Landen kept that all of his life to remind him of her
forgiveness and her faith and caring. Landen graduated college with a
master's degree in a medical field. He wonted to help people like Jamie.
Landen also started a journal of his feelings after Jamie's death. He kept
a picture of her in his wallet to remind him of her smile. Landen met women
who had a daughter in the hospital he worked in. Her daughter had cancer
and had lost her husband in a car accident. She was just like Jamie; she
was an angel from above. Landen was so inspired to help troubled kids be
everything that they could be. He soon married Carrie, the woman he meant
in the hospital, and her daughter was a survivor of cancer. Landen still
carries a picture of Jamie and visits her grave on the weekends. He will
also remember to have faith in people, and to forgive. Because of Jamie, he
is a better person, and more caring.
