A Poem To An Elf

I see the Chaos this war has caused;
Much has happened through our lives.
Love, Hate, and Betrayal
I gave to you.
I have to say I'm sorry.
You can be naive,
and full of sorrow
but you helped me on my way.
And for that I thank you
and give you my bow.
My key to life:
My spirit free,
my friend, you must see
that you have helped
and are wanted here.
Though the dwarf may not say so,
he admires you...
and though the humans riding do not respect you,
I do.
