Prologue – Third Impact

It has begun. He could feel it all around him, as the souls of all those living on the Earth and in the colonies above vested themselves of their mortal shells and returned to that state where all are one. All of this mattered not to the last survivor of this world, for every fiber of his being was focused on one task, maintaining his A.T. Field. As mankind's folly made itself known and everything returned to the way that it was before mankind first awoke, he focused everything that he was on one task. Ensuring that this horror would not be visited on those to come.
So the base that was designed to protect humanity sunk beneath the Earth as the planet and the Universe itself was restored to a time when Humans did not exist so that the trial may be started anew. As everything returned to its prior state, the Universe was renewed with hope. Hope that maybe this time it will be different.
And so the last survivor of a doomed people lay in wait, for the day that the Test would begin again and the people of the Earth would need his services to save us all.

Authors Notes: And so begins the first collaborative work between the all mighty Chaos Lord and his sickeningly creative brother PacMan. This has been a story that PacMan was working on for some time and after watching the supremely fucked up End of Evangelion I decided to write it. This story is going to come slowly since my main concern at the moment is to finish The Light Hawk War.
