A/N I know that I'm not finished with my Harry Potter story, but my cousin got me obsessed with Lord of the Rings. I have an original character named Lúthien Faelivrin. Ok, now I think that that name is cool because this is my actual elf name! At the end of the chapter I'll put the site so you can go and find your elf and hobbit name. Anyways, my favorite character is Legolas (Orlando Bloom, but we're fourteen years apart), so I made an original character, with my elf name, and based it on a real person. Oh, and my hobbit name is Rosie-Posie Proudfoot of Standelf. And Orlando Bloom's hobbit name is Milo Proudfoot! Ok, I know that I'm kind of going on and on, so here's the chapter!
Oh and please review!
Chapter 1- The Beginning
Lúthien Faelivrin walked at the edge of a stream with her best friend Merenwen, and her sister/best friend Uruviel. Them being elves live in Rivendell, although some live in the Woodland Realm. " It's so boring here!" she said kicking a stone into the clear water. " I want adventure, excitement!"

Uruviel snorted, " You won't find any here! After the war ended everything went peaceful, back to normal. Until any evil returns, which I doubt, this is basically be like.... Forever. And this is how it should be. No more worries."

Lúthien's waist length, auburn hair blew in the wind. " So," she said tucking a loose hair behind her ear, " I'll never really find what I want. I'll be stuck here!" She sat down on a nearby rock in frustration, and put her head in her hands.

Uruviel and Merenwen exchanged looks, and walked over to Lúthien's side. The both bent down, one on each side, to comfort her.

" Don't worry, you'll find adventure. It could be anywhere, like in the woods," Merenwen said.

Uruviel raised an eyebrow at Merenwen. And Merenwen gave her a look telling her to 'go along with it'. " Yeah. You just have to look for it."

" Yeah. Come on Uruviel, we'd better get back," they all stood up and headed home.

Lúthien sat up on her bed, gazing at her ceiling. She sighed and turned her head to look out of her window. The moon shone brightly, in her green eyes, creating silhouettes of the many objects in there. She got out of bed and walked over to her balcony doors. She opened the doors and stepped out. She Lúthien walked over and leaned on the railing. She could see most of Rivendell, and most of the forests surrounding it. She squinted and leaned harder on the railing. Someone was out there....
A/N I know, it was short. I'm beginning to write the second chapter so it won't take that long for it to be posted! Thanks, no flames please review!
