"I'm in love!" Usako leapt into the air and squealed. "Yes! This is GREAT!" With that, she jumped onto the couch, and momentarily forgot it was broken. But only momentarily. Upon the first jump, the back of the couch fell off, causing the seat to tip back and tossing Usako into the air in the process-and straight into the surprised arms of Mamoru. "Oh.konichiwa!" Usako smiled cutely and wrapped her arms around Mamoru's neck in greeting. Mamoru held her a little tighter. "Dai jou bu? That was quite a trip you took there." Glancing down at the couch, or what was left of it, he sighed. "You broke it.AGAIN? You really need to stop breaking things." "Gomenasai!" Usako said, and gave him the most heartbreakingly sorrowful look that Mamoru couldn't help but smile. "You are too cute for your own good, you know that?" "That's what I was counting on." "Oh, you were, were you? Well, I bet you weren't counting on.this!" Mamoru grinned and dropped her on the newly found couch seat, originally the back of the couch, then promptly began tickling her mercilessly. "Say it! Say 'you are the coolest, Mamoru'!" Usako laughed until her stomach hurt, upon which she finally said, a bit breathlessly, "You are the-" Suddenly, there were feathers. Everywhere. On the couch, on the floor, in the air, everywhere. Mamoru glanced around in confusion, then looked down at the equally confused Usako underneath him. "Usako.you didn't." Usako held up her hands in mock-surrender. "No! I swear! I didn't." Glancing over, she lifted what was left of a feather throw pillow. "Oops." Mamoru sighed, rolled over onto the oddly comfortable carpet of feathers, and stared at the ceiling fan. "Geez, Usako.your always messing things up, aren't you?" Glancing over at her, he immediately felt the strong urge to slap himself when he gazed upon her face. "I.I'm sorry, Mamoru.I guess.I'm just not good at anything, am I?" A silent tear rolled down her face. Mamoru sighed, and silently cursed himself for being so heartless. "No. Your definitely good at one thing." Usako looked at him blankly. "I am?" Mamoru nodded and smiled softly. "Mm-hmm." Pulling her down next to him, he gently wrapped his arms around her and breathed in her beautiful scent. "Your perfect at being you...and I love you for it." Usako smiled against his chest. "Arrigatou." Glancing up at him, she bit her lip and smiled nervously. "Mamoru?" Mamoru rubbed his nose against hers. "Yes?" "Wo ai ni." Mamoru smiled and kissed her gently. "I love you too."
