What If I were to change,

Leave this life behind,

And receive in exchange

The life I was denied?

I've thought of it often,

Which path to walk.

But now I've softened,

My heart, she unlocked.

What do I do now?

Her will or mine?

I have no wish to disavow,

but it's MY life on the line.

But when I think,

Of what she's done,

My cheeks go pink.

I know she's the one.

I can't give her away,

So human I'll be.

I won't tell her today.

But I will eventually.
