As very few of you know...in fact I'd say about none. I have changed my sn to Kokoro no Yami...not saying I might not switch back, but I was in the mood for a change, I'll leave my name on ff.net as Sorahane because if anyone ever looks for me they'll find me. (assuming people look for me...which I doubt) This is just something that popped out of my head. It's not yaoi, or romantic in anyway. It's rather short but I enjoyed the writing of it. Thanks for reading and I encourage reviews.

Confusing Time

Alice walked up the winding path. Through the vines and overhanging trees. 'Who was it that planted such marvelous wonders?' She wondered to herself offhand. 'Could I swing on one if I tried?' Just as she set her mind to doing so, a strange feeling of eyes upon her made her look up. Seemingly floating just inside the shadows and leaves were a pair of eyes. She recognized them immediately.
"Why, Hello Cheshire Puss"
"Good morning my dear"
"If you'd excuse my saying so,.."
"Of course. I say 'so' whenever I feel like it. So why should you not say 'so'?"
"That's not entirely what I meant."
"Well you should always say what you mean. If you don't then no one will ever know what you mean."
"I understand that but.."
"It's always good to understand. But some things have more levels of understanding than one might think."
"All I wanted to say is that it isn't morning. Thank you very much."
"How can you be sure? Maybe it was morning when I said it, but it isn't anymore. Or maybe it was morning where I am and not where you are."
"I do not see the logic in that. You are only a few feet away, it can't possibly be morning over there and not over here."
"It's not that is can, it's that it will. Time is an unruly sort. Best to stay out of it's way."
"How can one stay out of time?"
"Easily. After breakfast, Time always goes on a walk around the Queen's gardens until 10. After which he takes a nap until he decides its time for lunch, around 12 to 1. Then he has tea at four and dinner at six and then he retires at seven"
"But what does that have to do with staying out of time?"
"You can't stay out of time. Time works all the time. But one would be wise to stay out of Time's way."
"But how does one do that?"
"Avoid Time's schedule"
"But...Oh, never mind"
"Of course I mind, if I didn't Time might take offense."
"Enough of this confusing business about time."
"It's not confusing."
"Then what is it?"
"It's Time."
"If you don't stop I will be forced to leave."
"Leave if you must, Just mind the time."
