Things...
Things aren't always what they appear to be.
The same goes for persons.
A lot of them put up a front of defence. Like a cocky appearance or a big mouth.
Others will make you feel uneasy by letting you know how much you don't know.
It all depends on what kind of person you're talking to. But overal... Nobody let themselves be seen. Nobody will show you their true selves if they don't completly know and trust you. Isn't it sad? That at most times you can't even seem to trust one another if there is someone else present.
What is it?
Can't trust more then one person?
Of course you can. But not at the same time. It's like a natural human defence system. Don't show your weaknesses at more than one person a time. With this system, time will tell wether you've made the right choices.
Time will always tell..
Sometimes it even seems as if time is the only one who's ever going to tell you the truth. The only one who you can count on.
Time.
Then why is it that time makes your suffering last longer, and your happiness last shorter.
Is it there to teach us? To let us learn from our mistakes? Is it for this reason that in your deepest low, the only thing that doesn't seem to get any furter is you and the time that's left?
It can't be, for why would it do the precise opposite when you're finnaly content? Content and happy.
It doesn't make sense...
It just doesn't make sense...
Not any of it.
Lucas stood up from his desk. And turned off the computer, without saving.
He couldn't understand. And like everything in his life that was the one thing
he wanted.
He wanted to understand why things worked like the way they did.
Why people worked the way they did.
Why his parents never seemed to give a damn about him.
Why? Why didn't he know the answer? Were there others that did? Then why didn't they
tell him, explain it to him?
Was he, with all the wisdom he allready possessed at this age, the only
one who couldn't figer it out?
Was he really the only one?
It felt like it. But then again. How could he know. Maybe everybody had the same
problems as he did.
Maybe not.
He sat on his bed and stifled a yawn.
Maybe he was the only one.
He layed down on his bed and closed his eyes.
But then again. ~He thought as sleep was slowly overcoming him~
Time only seems to be longer in times of dispair.
It seems....
If it seems to be, it doesn't have to be the truth.
So if his parents seemed to not give a damn, it could be possible that...
they did....
