A/N: This was the first I wrote after someone e-mailed me about poetry.  You know who you are.  Well, a ^__^ to you because I wrote a few.  Anyways, this one is dedicated to the Bladebreaker of defense.  He's one happy-go-lucky guy who would do everything in his power to protect his friends.  This poem's about him and someone admiring him.  Enjoy. ^__^.  [In case you don't know or figured it out yet, I'm very intrigued by his nature and his joyfulness.]

Deep Within the Ocean

Golden strands of thread weaved down from your head,

Freckles upon your cheeks,

A sincere smile across your face,

Eyes like the ocean,

Ever so clear, ever so deep, ever so blue.

Overalls in which you dress,

Orange and green you wear,

In which I do believe you look the best.

Never battle unless provoked,

A hero in my eyes you are,

Always to defend, never to offend,

Always there for a friend.

A turtle is your trademark.

Fitting for someone of the water.

Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide,

Out sailing on the ocean am I.

Surrounded only by the gift of life.

Nothing else to do,

But to take a dive:

Confess to you.

In deep within the ocean,

In deep within you,

With hope and the power of my admiration,

Find a heart of pure gold,

Locked, but unlocked by the key—

The one thing in life we all seek.

Unlock it I shall,

And when this is done,

In your eyes,

Ever so clear, ever so deep, ever so blue,

Will I see reflected in them,

The same admiration for me.

A/N: Well, wasn't this long?  Yup, I know, I should be doing March Break hwk, hwk that spoils the holidays.  And don't think I don't know what you might be thinking: 'Why is she not working on her story?' Well, I have an awesome excuse…. I'll get back to that later. ^__^. In the mean time, hope you enjoyed the poem, and review if desire.  Before you go, have a ^__^.
