She didn't look too happy to be standing in the Great Hall at Hogwarts on that balmy
September evening, but that's just the general aura that Amelia gave off. She scanned the room and
studied everyones faces (for thats how Amelia assesed people) and she came to a dead stop.
He was beautiful...everything about him, or atleast what she could see. He looked like he's been
through tremendous pain...she read it in his deep, expressionless, onyx eyes.

"Agrippa, Amelia". Amelia walked solemly towards the front of the hall, using her peripheral
vision to examine the expressions of her potential house mates. When she got to the stool, McGonnagle
placed the Sorting Hat on Amelia's wavy dark brown (almost black) hair "There's no question about it...
you're cunning and sly...you have no intentions of stopping until you have obtained what you covet..."...
"SLYTHERIN!". Although elated to be in the only house she wanted to be in, she knew how to keep her
apathetic composure. She went to the table and sat down in a spot where there was atleast a few feet
radius from any other living, breathing thing , Amelia didn't really enjoy people's company or affection,
but that didn't matter to other people apparently. "Hi, whats your name?"...'what the hell, didn't this creep
already hear it being yelled?' reluctantly she replied. "Amelia" and rolled her eyes. The platinum-haired
interrogator got the hint and started another meaningless conversation with another useless being.
'I hate people'...Just as she was thinking that her eyes met his...the man with the obsidian eyes and the
somewhat greasy black hair...she didn't know his name yet...nor was she going to ask any of these
wastes of time...she kept staring and she didn't break off the gaze between the two, it was then she
knew she was going to get to know this man...no matter what lengths she had to go through.

Dumbledore stood up and made his speech and the feast began. Amelia didn't eat much,
it was hard for her to eat in front of people. She listened to the ramblings of all the students and heard
them all talk about boys and girls and all that teenage stuff. Amelia wasn't like that...although very pretty
she never had boyfriends. She was never accepted...no one understood her...she didn't expect anyone
here to either...her being a 6th year transfer and all.

She put on her headphones and waited until everyone was filing out of the hall...she didn't feel
like hearing them talk anymore. She followed all the other Slytherins down to the dungeons, because
she didn't know where the hell she was going. 'Pretty snazzy place we got here' Amelia thought in her
head, but her thoughts were almost drowned out by the last mixed CD she had the chance to make
before she left for Hogwarts. The Prefect, Gregor Biffly, showed her the ropes and told her where the girls
dormitories were. "Thanks Greg" she said before starting off to find her room..."It's Gregor, girl."..."Do I
look like I care?" Amelia retorted. Gregor rolled his eyes and walked away. 'Stupid people' Amelia
turned and started towards her room.
