Prologue

Posters, Partners and Detention

"Harry! It's up! It's up! You have to see it!"

"What is it, Ron?"

"The poster for Hogwart's Parlor Games Day!"

The two ran down the halls of Hogwarts and went to a complete stop in front of a large, poster. Harry looked up and began reading the parchment.

"Join the games on Parlor Games Day. Sign up for free right here. Games consist of Dodging for Apples, Newspaper Dance, 2 minutes in Filch's secret guarded closet in the Astronomy Tower and lots more fun games. Well?"

Harry turned over to Ron. He wasn't sure if it was a good idea. I mean, 2 minutes in Filch's secret guarded closet in the Astronomy Tower? Really.

Ron, seeing the hesitation in Harry's face, pats his back and says, "Don't worry Harry! I promise you, you'll enjoy yourself!"

"And if I don't?"

Ron paused for a while. What does he have to do to get Harry to join? 'He's having a lot of stress. He needs some relaxation. Aha!'

"You can have 20 pieces of my Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. Deal?"

Harry thought for a moment. Wasn't a bad deal, you know. Unless.

"I want all twenty to be Pumpkin Flavor. Then it's a deal."

"Deal, my friend."

They shook hands, flung one of their arms on the other's shoulder and hopped to the Great Hall, singing, 'We're going to a part, a party, a party! We're going to a.'
