Yeah. So this is my first fanfiction basically ever...well there was this one attemp with Escaflowne uh...~ahem~ But let's not get in that right now. Another time.. another time. This basically was formed in a dream. It has a thin plot but it will figure itself out once we get along. Trust me.

Anyways! Enough of my gibberish and on with the story.

-The Shadow Girl-

She crouched down in the shadows. Just where she wanted to be, unseen. It was safer here. You couldn't be judged for your race, backround, appearence, nothing. Because that's just it, you are nothing in the shadows, just a shadow in the light world. The darkness had been her allie, ever since the betrayal.

-Flashback-

She ran down the long hallways, holding her dress up like she usually did when she ran. She shouted greetings to the guards and maids as she hurriedly rushed by. They waved slightly and smiled. Nothing they weren't reallly used to, she always seemed to be in a hurry lately.

She stopped at the end of the hall stepping in front of the large mahogany that stood proudly before her. She ran her hands through her hair to smooth it out, before quietly stepping into the room.

She brought herself herself to the tip of her toes and when she was almost to her chair--- "You're late." proclaimed a black haired elf. 'Shit.' She smiled slightly as the figure turned about and glared at her. Her smile immediatly left her face. "Look... I'm sorry Sinadi I got hel-" "Held up?" he interupted. She sighed and nodded. "That's no excuse. You're always late Kindarin," he scolded, before his tone became a bit more soft "Must I put you on a leash?" She scowled for a minute before sticking out her tounge playfully. "No." His face became more serious. "We have a council with Saruman, we leave at dawn." She nodded to him and soon after they left to pack for the trip.

That was the last time she saw her brother.

-End Flashback-

She snapped from her trance when a disturbance from outside the shadow alley caught her attention. Her hazel eyes narrowed and she crouched down almost like a cat, walking forward to see exactly what...or who was the disturbance of the peace.
