Gryffindor tower was always quiet this time of the morning - when the sun was just breaking through the trees on the horizon, the birds started to sing, and the icy frost covered everything outside.

Ginny Weasley was the only soul awake that hour. She sat staring out the stone framed window onto the grounds below. In fact, this was the third day in a row Ginny had awoken so early and gone to sit next to her window.

It had been three days since Harry Potter had been put in the hospital. She didn't know how it had happened though. No one really did - except Dumbledore, he always knew. Harry had been there before. Of course, he was always getting into trouble or trying to save Hogwarts, how could he not be injured on a regular basis! But this was different. He had always recovered. There had always been hope before this incident. Ginny was frightened now. Madame Pomfry hadn't allowed a single person to see Harry, not even Professor McGonagal. She said it was too serious. What could be more serious than when Harry had fought the Dark Lord? Unless, it had happened again.

Ginny shook her head vigorously determined to stray the thought from her mind. No. No. She managed to convince herself, at least temporarily, that Harry would be okay. All she could do at the moment was wait.
