It was Percy Weasley's 37th birthday and he was out getting some office supplies. As he got some new quills and parchment at Bob's Quill and Parchment Emporium, he told the man behind the counter that it was his 37th Birthday.

The man behind the counter said, "That's nice. Now please, if you aren't going to buy any Broomstick Polish, please get out of line."

Undaunted, Percy left the store and got some new ink. He didn't like the ink that Bob's Quill and Parchment Emporium sold because it caked too easily. Instead he would buy it at Expensive Quills, and to be wild for his birthday, Percy got Ebony Ink instead of regular Black Ink. On his way to pay, he found some of the badge polish in his favorite brand (Big Head Polish). He added that to his shopping cauldron. Some new horn-rimmed glasses caught his eyes and he spent the next 14 minutes trying on new pairs. When he was done, he decided that he liked his old dependable pair so paid for his ink and polish and left.

He called the Knight Bus to take him home and found a bed on the second level.

"Hello," an old lady said from the bed next to him. Percy turned and smiled politely at her.

"Hello Madam," Percy said.

"Want to see a new trick I learnt?" she asked, trying to smile innocently. Percy wasn't sure how to respond, but he didn't want to be rude.

"Sure." Percy agreed reluctantly, looking at her uncertainly.

"I can tell you your exact age," the woman told him.

"What do I have to do?" Percy asked, interested.

"Let me hold your wand," she told him. Percy started to pull his magical wand from his cloak pocket but the woman shook her head.

"No," she said, "your OTHER wand." Percy didn't know for a minute what she meant. When he figured it out, his eyes widen.

"Madam, I don't know about yourself, but I am a married man. And it would be inappropriate for me to." Percy paused to find the words. "Show my stuff to you."

The lady shrugged and turned away.

It was a busy day for the Knight Bus so it was taking even longer to get home. Percy now regretted his decision to ride home instead of apparating. You can't apparate from the Knight Bus.

Finally his curiosity got the best of him, and Percy turned to her again.

"Show me the trick," Percy said. The woman grinned and moved over so she was sitting next to Percy on his bed.

"Show me your wand," She instructed. Percy did as she told him, trying to keep from blushing. The woman weighted his 'wand' in her hand for a few minutes before returning to her bed.

"You are exactly 37 years old," she told him. Percy stared at her.

"How did you know that?" Percy asked, bewildered. This wasn't any trick he had ever heard of. And it wasn't a trick that was likely to not be mentioned around the office.

The woman smiled. "I was behind you in the store."
