summary: it's chloe's lucky day.
"Happy St. Paddy's Day!" Lana said as she sat at the Sullivan's kitchen table and poured herself some cereal.

"Same to you." Chloe mumbled through a mouthful of Frosted Flakes.

"You girls have a good day." Gabe said as he grabbed his briefcase and kissed Chloe on the forehead, then walked out of the kitchen.

"Here's your present!" Lana grinned, sliding a green box over to Chloe.

"What for? St. Patrick's Day?"

"Yeah." Lana grinned as Chloe shuffled through the green tissue paper. "Nell and I always ot each other little gifts. Just a tradition."

"Aww, thanks Lana. I have a history test today; I can use all the luck I can get!" Chloe said as she fished her keys out of her purse and hooked the three leaf clover keychain onto them.

"Welcome!" Lana said as she tipped back her bowl and finished off her milk.

"Happy St. Patrick's Day, Pete." Chloe grinned as he joined her in the cafeteria.

"I didn't know you celebrated today." Pete replied.

"I don't. Lana does, and it's contagious."

"I guess she's teaching Clark the finer points of being Irish." Pete said as the two brunettes talked in line.

"Guess so." Chloe said, smiling.

"Whoa, that's not even a plastic I-really-want-to-kill-Lana smile!" Pete said.

"You're right. I guess after living with the girl, I know she deserves someone like Clark as much as I wanted him."

"You're using past tense."

"Thanks, Captain Obvious."

"Well, what brought on this twist in the drama-edy in your head?" Pete asked.

"New boy."

"Really? Who?"

"You." Chloe stated firmly.

"Wh-what?" Pete replied.

"Just letting you know so I don't have to pretend not to be jealous when you go out with other girls---I really CAN be jealous."

"What if I don't want to go out with any other girls?" Pete asked coyly.

"Then it'd have to be my lucky day." Chloe said, slightly taken aback by Pete.

"Got a three leaf clover hanging around?" Pete laughed.

"Do I need it?"

"No." Pete said as he leaned down to kiss Chloe's cheek.

"Lookie here. It really is my lucky day." Chloe grinned as she showed Pete her keychain from Lana.

"Nice." Pete said as he kissed Chloe again.
