Sleep is all he wishes for, when the voice becomes too strong; when his friend's look – so full of sorrow – rests on him; when the burden slowly burns its way through his flesh.

But sleep takes him closer to the voice, fuddling him with words so full of beauty. Promises of a better world, a wonderful world, in which he has the power – the force – to change everything.

Hate stays with him, when he awakes. Sometimes only for a few heartbeats, sometimes for hours. When it has left, the pain takes its place and with it the wish to be released into a dreamless sleep.
