Gordo sat in his room on the wide window sill starring at the open bedroom window at the house across the street. It was Lizzie's house, the girl that he had had a crush on since like, Kindergarten. He had sent her every kind of message to tell her how he felt that he could, but he didn't think she'd picked up on any of them. Although, she did kiss him on picture day, but it was just on the cheek it didn't mean anything. "Just a lousy friendship, end of Jr. High kiss. Didn't mean a thing." Gordo said to himself as he starred at Lizzie through her bedroom window, hoping she wouldn't see him. She was standing in front of the mirror singing to the radio into a hairbrush. "She looks so.perfect." Gordo said again to himself as he starred at Lizzie in her cotton pajama bottoms and tank top, her blonde hair slightly rustled from the wind blowing in from the open window. Gordo loved her, okay maybe not loved, but he liked her, a lot. And he watched her every night at this time, it may be creepy, but he did. She was always in her room doing something at this time of night, usually watching TV or listening to the radio or something, and Gordo watched her. She'd never noticed him before, and he liked it that way.
Lizzie stood in front of her full length window in her pajamas and hairbrush in hand. She was singing her head off to some song she didn't even know the name of. As the song quieted there was a ding on her computer which meant some one was trying to instant message her. She slammed down into the computer chair and moved the mouse so her screen savor of Josh Hartnett would disappear. The message was from Miranda who was in Mexico for the summer.
MANDER: Hey gurl waz up?
LIZZEE: NMH. How bout u?
MANDER: Same. So hows Gordo?
LIZZEE: Fine. Talked to him lately?
MANDER: Yea, like yesterday.I think.
LIZZEE: So hows Mexico?
MANDER: Pretty boring, I don't know anyone under the age of 35.
MANDER: Hey my mom is calling me and we have to go to some museum of some dead painter guy in the morning so I need to go to bed. I'll talk to you later ok?
LIZZEE: Ok, bye, bye!
MANDER: BYE!
Lizzie turned off her computer and turned toward the window. She looked across the street, someone was there but then they ran away. "Gordo?" she said standing up and walking quickly to the window. She stuck her head out and looked through the darkness at the Gordon house. The blinds in the window of Gordo's bedroom were open, but Gordo was nowhere in sight. She shook her head confused and pulled her head back into the bedroom and shut the window. She flicked out the lights and laid down on her bed, tucking her legs into the turned bed covers. It was pretty early, but she had something to think about, mainly Gordo.
