Akis

In the year 12182, the houses of Attreidez and Harukunnen are fighting a bloody battle for control of the bountiful tropical planet Akis, also known as Flora. Sakura, the Duke's favourite fighter, Tomoyo the Duke's strategist, Eriol, his son and the heir to the throne, are the only members of the Attreidez family who survived the massacre organized by Baron Harukunnen, with the covert assistance of the ruling Emperor of Akis. The mastery of the art of infiltration, and stealth shall soon begin.

"SAKURA! WAKE. UP!" Screamed a deep-violet-haired girl with many red, blonde and black streaks in her hair; into the ear of the unsuspecting fighter. Sakura awoke with a start to the agonised screams of those around her. What had happened? The many corpses littering the ground outside gave the secluded girl the hint she had needed. Baron Harukunnen had attacked, swiftly and harshly. It seemed that everyone was either dead or in the process of dying. How had I slept through all this and yet still remain unharmed, she thought for a moment before glancing at her best friend Tomoyo for the second time that morning, or was in afternoon? They could never tell because the fireflies supplied most of the light in the tropical rain forest they lived within. Sakura ran her fingers through her brown hair with deeper coloured streaks of red and chestnut. It would be a long day. it always was.

Tomoyo frowned, "I should have known to expect this from that low life son of a.." she murmured angrily to herself seeing the soldiers leave. Quietly she disturbed Sakura and said quietly, "We should look for survivors, once they've left." Sakura nodded her head affirmative when a ruckus broke their small conversation. They quietly peeked out the window when they saw Eriol and the heir to the throne outside fighting for their lives, "Damb" Tomoyo muttered and motioned to Sakura that they should help.

Gathering all the things they'll need quickly for a haste escape Tomoyo and Sakura launched a swift attack on the leftover guards. One by one they fell at the feet of the two best fighters in the family. When they arrived they watched in horror as Eriol and the heir began to loose, it seemed as if it were in slow motion when Eriol was stabbed in the side and the heir was slashed down the chest.

The girls eyes flamed, nobody hurts their family. Both the boys had collapsed before the girls fury was unleashed upon the unsuspecting soldiers who fell in the line of battle. They ran, each of them carrying one boy off into the forest. No enemy ever returned the graveyard they once called home.
