Author's notes:
Hello everyone! Thank you for reading Sonata In Blue (which had been fondly nicknamed "That 'Elrond's Sons' Story" before it actually had a title), and thank you especially if you have felt so motivated as to leave a review! This story actually started out as no more than an idle thought that I was not even going to write. It started growing and growing in my mind, however, and since Elladan and Elrohir are two of my favorite characters, I eventually started writing it (and wrote three chapters- can you believe it? Usually I'm struggling for just one!). Anyway, I just wanted to leave a note to explain a bit of the story behind Sonata. JRR Tolkien never actually told the fate of Elrohir and Elladan, though it was assumed that they both made the same decision regarding their (im)mortality because of their close relationship. I could argue both points as to why they would choose either mortality or immortality, and so have decided to present both arguments in the story ;-).
One last note to clear up a few things in the way of chapter names: in case you haven't noticed, the chapters are all named on music-related themes. A definition of each can be found on any musical term definition site (go to any search engine and type in 'musical term dictionary'); I will not post the meanings here, but, even though they may seem chosen at random, the names of the chapters actually do hold some significance once you know their definitions :-)
