A FUTURE WORTH WAITING FOR, OR IS IT?

It was a normal day in the Tree House, well as normal as it got in The Lost World. " Come on Marguerite, we're going." Lord John Roxton said to the brunette sitting in her chair. " Going. I'm not going anywhere. I have important things I need to attend to." She said in one of her commanding voices. " What's so important then?" Roxton asked. " Well first I have to take a bath, then I have to eat and after that I'm taking a nap." Marguerite said, making her point quite clear. But of course this was never good enough for Roxton. He made sure it was his duty to argue with her in fact he loved to do so. He found great pleasure in arguing with the feisty brunette. " No first you're coming with me." Roxton replied. For once in her life Marguerite didn't argue or make any snide comments. " Sigh. where are we going." She asked in a very dull voice. Roxton simply smiled at her enthusiasm " Challenger needs some kind of plant and we get to find it." He said smiling at her. " Oh fun, not my idea of a romantic day out." Marguerite said, and then realized her mistake. " What was that?" Roxton asked. " Err. I said, oh what looking for a plant all day." She answered with a very believable look on her face. " Oh ok. Well let's get going then or we will be out there all day." He said while grabbing his favorite possession. his rifle. When he was out of sight Marguerite hit herself mentally. " You're losing your touch Marguerite. You do not like john." She said to herself. ~ No you don't like John, you love him~ her conscience A.N can I get a spell checksaid. " When I want your opinion I'll ask for IT!" Marguerite shouted out loud. " What was that Marguerite?" Roxton asked looking at Marguerite weirdly. " Err.nothing. Nothing at all." She said while blushing a deep red. " Well what are we waiting for lets go!" She said quickly trying to change the subject before she said something she might have regretted.

A.N-well that's it for now. Oh and before I forget I do not own the lost world or any of the characters. well if I make up the characters then I would own them.
