Another InuYasha FanFiction By: Amara Hitserato

"InuYasha? Why haven't you come yet?" Kagome whispered into her pillow.

It had been a full two weeks since she had come home and the dog-demon hadn't come through the well to look for her yet.

"Maybe I really got to him. I was pretty rude to him and he looked almost hurt when I yelled at him.

A flashback of her throwing insults at InuYasha one after another danced through her head.

****She was standing infront of the god tree, the whole gang around her. (Sango, Miroku, InuYasha and Shippo.) "Don't you even care about my life?! If I hadn't ever come with you on this quest, you'd never be able to be with your beloved priestess Kikyou! It's like you don't even have a heart! You always act like you're king over me and afterwards, you just expect me to keep searching for your shards?! Well not anymore InuYasha. I'm through with that and I never want to see you again! You're such a rude, stubborn, half breed! I hate this time and everyone in it! I hate you InuYasha!" With that Kagome picked up her backpack and jumped through the well, giving the group a heartless glare. ****

"Why was I such a jerk to him? And even Sango, Shippo, and Miroku! God I'm so blind and selfish! Who am I kidding? He won't come looking for me anymore. They'll never speak to me again, and I never even told InuYasha how much I appreciated him and how much I cared for him. Now they're gone. I can never go back now." A tear ran down her cheek. Kagome felt like curling up into a ball and dieing. She hugged her pillow harder and cried. She cried until she fell asleep, but her dream was no better than reality.

KAGOME DREAM SEQUENCE # 1 Kagome was running as fast as her small feet could take her, but it was no use; the shadow was much quicker. She felt a cold wind blowing at her neck, sending a chill all down her spine. Then an enormous clawed hand grabbed her leg and she tripped, landing on the hard, cold ground. She crawled up against a tree and waited for the darkness to engulf her. Suddenly, a hand touched her shoulder from behind the tree. She turned around to find InuYasha looking back at her, but Kagome instantly knew that something was wrong. Instead of him normal golden, lively eyes there were yellow orbs making him look like he had no soul inside. InuYasha then looked at the Shikon no tama around Kagome's neck and grasped it firmly. He looked into Kagome's fearful eyes and gave her a heartless grin. He ripped the jewel from her neck and looked at it in his hand. Why Kagome, you shouldn't have." InuYasha grinned madly and cut her right across the face. He added a powerful kick in the back for good measure and took to the trees leaving Kagome sitting there holding her heart and tears dripping from her eyes.

Suddenly, she didn't care about the dark shadow about to put her in total darkness or about her bleeding cut. All she cared about was InuYasha and all they had been through during their journey to find the many fragments or the Legendary Shikon Jewel and about all of the times he had protected her from power-hungry demons. The sound of someone pounding on her window woke her up.
