Raye: Hey people, this is my first try at a Hellsing fic. Be nice. R&R!

Bloody Moon
Is it even suppose to be possible to be alive after you die?
I thought about that while I walked down the street. It was raining, but even the rain seemed different. Colder, more misty maybe. A drop fell onto my open palm. It was a tear-shape, but turned into a small, flat puddle as it spashed. That's how life is, too. You live for a while, all the while reaching for death, then you collapse. That's what normal people do.
However, I'm not normal.
Normal people don't need to drink blood to stay strong. Normal people don't run around killing others with oversized guns as a job. They enjoy their lives, until they go away.
I hate them.
I hate to admit it, but I envy them. They don't have to worry. They can always end their lives by choice if things get too hard. Why should they get that option while I have to suffer?
I used to be human, just like them. Just like them.
~*~Flashback~*~
"Victoria!"
A younger Victoria tunrs around and waves to her mother, before running over with a ring of flowers she made.
"Mommy! Look what I made!"
"That's very nice, dear. But it's time to go."
"Alright." She takes her mother's hand and trots to the car.
~*~End Flashback~*~
All that's changed, ever since I allowed myself to be turned into a vampire. There's nothing left for me. I'll can live forvever, so I will.
I hardly feel pain anymore, all due to the eternal bliss. Others' blood flows through me, I don't have anymore worry.
Looking back, I realize I could have done many things different. I wish I did. If only I had been nicer to my family. If only I hadn't agreed to sell my soul, if I simply accepted death. What would have happened?
What would have happened if I simply decided not to take that fateful walk that decided my fate.
Evne the moon looks different from before. Once a clear, white sphere, it is now a blood-red sphere with red fumes haning around it.
And one drop of red falls from the sky. And I wonder, can vampires die?

Raye: Yeah yeah, this was short. This is only my experimental thing, okay? R&R!
