I woke up to the sound of my mother and my sister arguing. I groaned and looked at the clock. it was 9:00. 9:00!! "Oh no!" I shrieked and ran into the bathroom to clean myself up.

When I had fully dressed, I went to tell my mother that I was ready to go. "Um, let Georgia take you," she said, and walked away. I knocked on my sister's door. "What?" she moaned.

"Mom says that you have to take me," I said. "Fine, I'll be out in a sec." I ran outside and waited by my sister's motorcycle. I wasn't exactly eager to go, but I had too.

Finally Georgia came out. She got on the cycle, I got on, and then we were off. When she stopped at Dr. Martin's house, I got off. "See ya, Georgia!" I called out, "pick me up later!"

I ran to the door and knocked. Dr. Martin's sister, Ally, opened it. "Hello, Holly," she said. "Hiya, Ally." She took me into the study, where the therapy sessions were to begin.

"Oh, Holly!" Dr. M said, "I'm so glad you could make it! Please take a seat." I sat on the love-seat next to an African American girl with mysterious eyes. Dr. M cleared her throat.

"Now that we're all here," she began, "I would like you to introduce yourselves." She nodded at me. "I'm Holly Haffa." I said. The girl next to me smirked, "I'm Brittany Ouva. The O in my last name's silent."

The girl lounging on the the couch with beautiful auburn hair said, "I'm Kayla Monroe." Too bad she seemed stuck up to me. "My father owns Monroe Publishers." Monroe Publishers! The most famous book publishers in the world!

Brittany scoffed, "So? My father works in the army." Dr. M cleared her throat and nodded to the girl sitting on a chair, all be herself. "I'm Saturnalia," she said, "Saturnalia Mage." Kayla laughed, "Saturnalia? What kind of a name is that?"

She laughed, while I sighed, feeling sorry for Saturnalia. "Damn rich girls," Brittany muttered. Kayla rolled her eyes. Saturnalia looked as if she was going to cry. "Kayla!" Dr. M said, "you have no right to make people feel lower than you!"

"Fine." Kayla said. "So, Holly," Dr. M said, "You're the first one to tell her story. Are you ready?" she asked. I nodded and the girls turned to me with interest. I sighed, knowing that I would have to do it sooner or later.

"Okay," I said. "My mother, father, me, and my sister were a pretty happy family. My mother's name is Stacie Haffa, my sister's name is Georgia Haffa, and my father's name was Maury Haffa." "Was?" Kayla asked.

"I'm getting there!" I snapped at her. She looked down, "Fine." she muttered. Dr. M sighed, "I wish for you all to get along," she said, "but we'll probably have a long time before that. Please continue Holly." she said after a long pause.

I nodded. "So," I said, glaring at Kayla, "my father had drafted in the army, and when he got killed, our family was never the same . . ."
