The Knight and the Rose:
Hermione awoke from the nightmare. "I'm at mothers, i'm at mothers, he cant get me here" she repeated to herself, her voice hoarse as the tears endlessly stained her cheeks. "Hermione!... Hermione, are you ok? I herd a scream" came her mothers voice from across the room. "mum, I'm so afraid. I thought he had me, I thought I was back there, with him" Hermione babbled as Mrs Granger came to comfort her. "ssssshhhhhhh..it's ok now, i'm here, he's not here, your safe, i've got you" Mrs Granger whispered the words to her distraught daughter, stroking her hair softly and giving her hand a squeeze of reassurance.

The hooded figure ran. "Jon!" "Jonathan!" it called repeating the name into the still darkness harshly. Another hooded figure ran up besides the first and they put on more speed. The hushed whispers that flowed between them seemed to be an argument. "We'll just have to apparate" said the first in a tightly controlled voice. "We cant. You don't understand, they've got Barriers in place" said the one named Jonathan. "I can break them" the first said with a slight sneer in its voice. "Oh really!? Can you now!" Jon said in the same sneering tone. The figure beside him looked uneasy and slowed to a brisk walk. " You cant do it can you" Jon said, a hint of panic invading his voice. Silence. "I can!" spat the cloaked, hooded figure sounding furious. "Do it then. Get us out of the God-forsaken place" "I..." the figure stopped, catching its breath. "I can only apparate us to London" "I....this barrier is very strong..must be a new ministry prototype" ended the mutter.
The sounds of shouts and swearing could be herd in the distance and the blue light of the immobilizing curse could be seen spreading through the trees. "Its now or never. Are you going to do it or do we have to run outta this place" Jon said putting not only all his faith, but his life, in the figure beside him. The other grabbed Jon's hand and in a flash of twinkling silvery light they were gone, leaving a faint echoing "SHIT" and their pursuers in disbelief. Their pursuers reached the spot just as the afterglow of silver faded out. How could this happen? How could anyone break a Barrier? Why would they even attempt it knowing that they would just be immediately thrown back injured or possibly dead. But there were no bodies to be found. Not anywhere, and they had searched the whole vicinity by this time. This would mean to indicate that they had somehow breached the Barrier. But that was impossible. There were only two people in the entire world who had ever been able to do that, the mudblood Hermione Granger and Dumbeldore himself, and it certainly wasn't them.
