Naru (the spirit) had not known how much time had passed. To her, it had only been a week. She had not found him and had decided to return to Hinata. There she found the neighborhood completely changed, and when she found where her home once was, she found him (or so she thought).
"That-that cretin," she whispered, clenching her fists. "No sooner he finds I'm dead than he gets himself concubines, maybe even married one of them!" Her anger knew no bounds and she set out to get his heart back. She knew that spirits and humans could be married. She would not stop trying to get him back.

Keitaro, Naru and Motoko were at Keitaro and Naru's grave. They felt that they ought to have paid their respects long ago. They cleared the graves of dead leaves and branches.
Naru looked at their tombstone, which said, 'May Urashima Keitaro and Narusegawa Naru rest with love and peace.' She contemplated for a moment, whether she and Keitaro would ever have that relationship.
"Narusegawa!" she heard Keitaro cry. "It's getting late, come on!"
"I'm staying a little longer," she called. Keitaro nodded his head and tried to catch up with Motoko. At the exact moment Naru (the spirit, here forth known as Narulei) saw Keitaro, Keitaro (the spirit, here forth known as Keitra) saw Naru.
