Chapter 2
Darien sat on the couch with his elbows. His chin was nestled on the part of his hand where the thumb meets the index finger, thinking. Serena was sitting next to him, as he tried to think of what to say. Darien started to speak.
"A sister," said Darien, "I might have a sister and all this time I've been wasting when I could have been looking for her, but I wasn't."
"Oh, Darien, you couldn't have known that you had a sister. You were in a car crash that made you lose your memory. You didn't even know your name for sure let alone your date of birth. So you can't beat yourself up over this, it isn't your fault," comforted Serena, "Listen, you should meet this girl and see if she truly is your sister. Then you should get to know her and make use of her, both as family and a key to the past."
"Serena, you're right. I think I will go meet her, but will you come with me? You are my fiancé, and I would like you to be there."
"Of course I will come with you, if that is what you want me to do."
